The Android Developer for UberMedia will be a tireless champion of the touch screen. You are a highly talented and experienced developer who has broad experience on the mobile and more specifically, the Android platform. You are ambitious and looking for a working environment that challenges you to get the best out of yourself. You are energetic and you have a ‘can do’ mentality.
You have a keen interest in the technical limitations and possibilities of mobile devices and platforms. You have a strong background in multiple programming languages, particularly in Java. You can work with our UX lead to create compelling interfaces that adapt well to the multitude of devices that Android runs on.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop mobile applications for Android used by millions of people every day
- Develop new features for our existing Android applications
- Working with QA on improving product quality
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience, of which at least 1 year on the Android platform
- Extensive experience with Java-based development and tools
- Experience with other programming languages is a big plus
- Proven ability to work closely with software engineers
- Experience with Affinity REST-like APIs
