As the Director of Developer Relations, you will create and nurture vibrant relationships with developers, primarily for the Chime.in platform. You will launch a developer API system and champion the creation of new applications that utilize UberMedia’s API.
You will manage day-to-day interactions with developers and will be the developers’ advocate within UberMedia. Externally, you will proactively champion UberMedia products within the developer community, with a focus on building high potential relationships. Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, you will design and manage events for the developer community and creatively find ways to recruit top developers to build for our platforms.
You are a highly talented and experienced developer with expertise in developing applications for new platforms. You have a keen interest in, and are an active user of, social media platforms. You have a strong background in multiple programming languages, particularly in Java.

- Serve as primary liaison between UberMedia and developer community
Requirements
- At least 5 years experience in developer relations or related function
- Extensive experience with Java-based development and tools
- Experience with other programming languages is a big plus
- Proven ability to work closely with software engineers
