So many SaaS companies sell their platform as a one-size-fits-all solution — something a customer can take off the shelf and implement without the help and insight of your company.
The reality is that effective product management requires an entirely different approach in this day and age. SaaS providers need to start their product development cycle with the client, listening to their feedback and using it to inform what new features you want to implement.
“One size fits all” solutions are no longer viable in enterprise software. If you truly want to be successful, you have to develop features that address your clients’ specific needs.
